Bio
Chris Tate joined Curi Capital in 2026 as a Senior Analyst. He supports the firm’s investment research efforts through manager due diligence and analysis across a range of asset classes.
Prior to joining Curi Capital, Chris served as a Senior Analyst in Manager Research at Morningstar, working across a range of asset classes in the firm’s Chicago and Sydney offices. Chris earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society Chicago.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys distance running and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon after securing a spot through this year’s ballot.
