John co-manages the Core Equities Strategy for Curi Capital with over 40 years of professional investment experience, following the acquisition of the company he founded, KDI Capital Partners.

Prior to the founding of KDI Capital Partners in 1998, he worked for Investors Management Corporation where he oversaw the partnership investments in publicly traded securities. He began his professional career as a CPA with KPMG, LLP, and shortly after joined Carolina Securities Corporation in Raleigh for 10 years.

He graduated from Eastern Illinois University and later went on to receive his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. John has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
