Bio

Tom Fanter is Director of Equities at Curi Capital, where he leads the firm’s equity investment platform and works closely with the firm’s investment leadership to shape the strategy, research direction, and long-term development of Curi Capital’s equity capabilities. In this role, Tom helps guide the Equity Team’s investment process, research framework, and analytical systems while promoting collaboration across the firm’s investment teams to support consistent and disciplined portfolio outcomes for clients.

In addition to his leadership role, Tom also serves as a Portfolio Manager for the Select Equity, Growth Equity, Equity Income, and Innovators strategies, as well as the RMB Fund mutual fund. He contributes to security selection and thematic research across sectors with a focus on identifying durable, high-quality businesses capable of generating long-term economic value.

Tom joined Curi Capital in 2017, when the IronBridge Capital team combined with RMB Capital. At IronBridge, he was a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Small Cap Core and Smid Cap Core strategies, as well as a Senior Analyst in the Information Technology and Communications Services sectors. At Curi Capital, he has played a central role in advancing the Equity Team’s research platform, refining the investment process, and helping develop new strategies designed to meet evolving client needs.

Tom graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences and earned an MBA with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
